Summary
Developed for patients at high risk or for those newly diagnosed,
this program explains what coronary artery disease is. It illustrates
the progression of atherosclerosis and the effect it has on the
amount of oxygen and nutrients the heart receives. Complications
of untreated coronary artery disease are covered, as well as symptoms
and diagnostic testing. Both medical and behavioral treatments to
increase the flow of blood to the heart are covered.
