Carbohydrate Counting Videos

In response to the needs of diabetes educators and other healthcare professionals who teach people with diabetes, we have produced three new videos on Carbohydrate Counting.

All of these videos, like others in our diabetes library, are Favorably Reviewed by the American Association of Diabetes Educators.

The new videos:

• Carbohydrate Counting: Skills into Practice
• Advanced Carbohydrate Counting: Insulin to Carbohydrate Ratios

These new titles are part of our In-facility video collection. They can be used in diabetes education classes, for one-to-one patient education, even over your patient TV channel.

According to producer Carrie Beaudoin, “The focus of these shows is to create an individual meal plan for each patient and their unique lifestyle. It’s also important for the patient to actively participate in this process.”
