Summary
Today there are many different delivery systems used to take insulin. With step-by-step demonstrations, this video takes patients through the process of taking insulin with a single dose syringe, a mixed dose syringe, or with an insulin pen. Important preparation steps are shown, as well as information about injection sites. Information is includes on: preparing to Inject with a syringe-- single dose; preparing to inject with a syringe -- mixed dose; preparing to inject with a pen, and injecting insulin. The DVD menu allows the educator to quickly access only the chapters relevant to each patient’s individual needs.
