What kind of products do you offer?

Milner-Fenwick publishes one of the largest libraries of patient education covering many areas of health and medicine. Choose from our in-facility videos that can be shown bed-side, in groups or classes, over your in-house TV system and even shared with family members. Or extend your caring presence to patients' home with our affordable in-home videos that you can give to patients upon discharge. We also offer a variety of digital and print based patient education products as well a number of professional education programs in Gastroenterology.

Who uses Milner-Fenwick's products?

Our programs can be found in thousands of hospitals across the US as well as in HMOs, medical clinics, physician practices and health departments. While most of our customers are healthcare professionals who use videos in traditional settings, other clients include pharmaceutical companies, corporate medical departments, home health agencies, and health insurance companies. We provide health information resources to anyone with a need to communicate their health message in a visual way.

What are the benefits of using your products?

Our programs save health educators time by answering basic questions about types of surgery, diseases, and conditions as well as standardizing your patient instructions. The programs also go a long way toward increasing patient understanding, compliance and satisfaction.

What is the difference between home videos and in-facility videos?

Our in-facility videos are programs that are approximately 10-20 minutes in length and are designed to show to the patient at the time of the consultation.

Our home videos are designed to give to the patient at the time of discharge. Recognizing that patients are often discharged very quickly from their hospital stay, the home videos were created to provide a much more in-depth educational experience. They are typically 1-2 hours in length and chapter coded so that patients or their family can quickly locate topics of interest. Home videos are sold in bulk and typically priced under $10 each.

Videos purchased in bulk for "in-home" use are not licensed for use within a public institution unless specified in writing. No public performance rights are provided.

How can I view the videos before buying?

Most Milner-Fenwick videos are available for a free 15-day preview. We want you to be happy with your purchase and encourage you to try the programs with your patients and share them with other staff members before purchasing them. Your only obligation is to return the material postage paid via an insured carrier.

How are programs developed?
