CTP 11        108 Slides        $150

Now available in PowerPoint® on CD-ROM

This unit covers the explosive developments in the genetics of colorectal cancer in the context of germ-line events. It includes Familial Adenomatous Polyposis and Hereditary Nonpolyposis Colorectal Cancer. Less common tumors of the colon and rectum are addressed, including clinical/endoscopic features and therapy for lymphoma, carcinoids, and squamous carcinoma of the anus. Also included are endoscopic examples of non-neoplasia lesions contained in the differential diagnosis of polyps. The current role of "chemoprevention" at the level of both dietary and pharmacologic agents is presented.
